- 4 pieces Chicken thighs or breasts
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup All-purpose flour
- 2 Large eggs, beaten
- 1/4 cup Honey
- 1 tablespoon Hot sauce (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a shallow bowl, mix breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dredge each piece of chicken in flour, dip into the egg wash, then coat in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place the coated chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and drizzle each piece with olive oil.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- While baking, mix honey and hot sauce in a small bowl.
- Drizzle the hot honey mixture over the chicken before serving.
Notes
For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free breadcrumbs or ground almonds. Substitute honey or hot sauce with your favorite alternatives for a unique twist.
