Ingredients

  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 sleeve Graham Crackers
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange the graham crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring for about 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  4. Pour the butter mixture evenly over the graham crackers and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  5. Remove from the oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over the top. Let rest for a few minutes until melted.
  6. Spread the melted chocolate evenly and add chopped nuts if using.
  7. Let the toffee cool completely before breaking it into pieces.

Notes

Churro Toffee can last up to a week when stored in an airtight container at room temperature.
