- 1 cup Unsalted Butter
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1 sleeve Graham Crackers
- 1 cup Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 cup Chopped Nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Arrange the graham crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring for about 2-3 minutes until thickened.
- Pour the butter mixture evenly over the graham crackers and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over the top. Let rest for a few minutes until melted.
- Spread the melted chocolate evenly and add chopped nuts if using.
- Let the toffee cool completely before breaking it into pieces.
Notes
Churro Toffee can last up to a week when stored in an airtight container at room temperature.
