These Christmas Cranberry Meatballs are sweet, tangy, and utterly irresistible, making them the perfect festive appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground beef or turkey
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup Cranberry sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef or turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Roll the mixture into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the cranberry sauce, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and brown sugar.
  5. Pour the cranberry sauce mixture over the meatballs on the baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the meatballs are thoroughly cooked through and golden brown.

Notes

For a healthier twist, consider using ground turkey instead of beef. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
