Ingredients

2 ½ cups bread flour
3 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast
2 eggs
½ cup warm milk
2 tbsp melted butter
Oil for frying
½ cup sugar for coating
Chocolate pastry cream or Nutella for filling
Instructions
- Mix: the bread flour, sugar, salt, and yeast in a large bowl.
- Add: eggs, warm milk, and melted butter, then knead until smooth and elastic.
- Cover: let the dough rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Punch down & divide: into 65‑gram balls, and let proof for another hour.
- Fry: the dough balls at 350°F (175°C) until golden brown, turning once.
- Drain: on paper towels, roll in sugar while warm, and cool slightly.
- Pipe: chilled chocolate pastry cream or Nutella into the center of each donut.
- Serve: immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 2 days.

Chill the chocolate pastry cream before piping to ensure a smooth, bakery-quality filling.
