A nutritious and delicious twist on a classic favorite, this Chocolate Banana Protein Bread is perfect for a guilt-free snack or breakfast.

  • Total Time: 60
  • Yield: 8 slices 1x

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 Ripe Bananas
  • 1 cup Protein Powder
  • 1/2 cup Almond Flour
  • 1/4 cup Cocoa Powder
  • 1/2 cup Honey or Maple Syrup
  • 1/4 cup Almond Milk
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a loaf pan by greasing it.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth. Add in the eggs, honey, and almond milk, mixing well until fully combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the protein powder, almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet banana mixture until just combined, careful not to overmix. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  4. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let the bread cool for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes

For a vegan option, substitute eggs with flaxseed meal or unsweetened applesauce. Store in an airtight container for up to a week or freeze slices for longer preservation.
