- 1/2 cup (60 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
- 1 small clove minced garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 24 dumpling wrappers (round)
- 1 tablespoon neutral oil (optional for frying)
- As needed water (for steaming or frying)
- As desired soy sauce, chili oil, or vinegar (for serving)
Instructions
- Prepare your filling by combining shrimp, scallions, cream cheese, mozzarella, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, white pepper, and salt in a bowl and mix until combined.
- Assemble dumplings by placing a wrapper on a surface, adding filling, moistening edges, and sealing tightly.
- To cook, steam the dumplings for 6-8 minutes or pan-fry in oil for 2 minutes, then add water and cook until water evaporates (4-5 minutes).
Notes
These dumplings can be frozen before cooking, making them an excellent meal prep option.
