- 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons avocado oil
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt

- 1/2 teaspoon dried mustard
- 1 cup BBQ sauce (for marinating and serving) plus more for serving
Instructions
- Marinate the Chicken: Place chicken thighs in a large sealable container. Add avocado oil, kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and dried mustard. Toss to coat and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Toss marinated chicken with 1/4 cup BBQ sauce, reserving the rest for later.
- Bake and Broil the Chicken: Transfer chicken to the lined baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes, then flip each piece, brush with reserved BBQ sauce, and bake for another 10 minutes. Switch to broil for 5-6 minutes until crispy, ensuring the internal temperature is 165°F (74°C) before serving.
Notes
Serve with extra BBQ sauce, coleslaw, or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
