Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine granulated sugar, unsalted butter, and heavy cream. Stir continuously over medium heat until it reaches a gentle boil (about 5 minutes).
- Remove from heat and stir in sweetened condensed milk, instant coffee granules, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Fold in chocolate chips until melted and well combined.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 8×8 inch pan, spreading it evenly.
- Allow cooling at room temperature, then refrigerate for about an hour until firm.
Notes
For a vegan version, substitute butter and sweetened condensed milk with coconut oil and a dairy-free alternative.
