- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup diced apples
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
- Fold in the diced apples.
- Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan and drizzle half of the caramel sauce over it.
- Spread the remaining batter on top and swirl in the rest of the caramel sauce.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the loaf cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For added flavor, serve warm with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
