- 1 cup thinly sliced chicken breast
- 1 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 tsp dark soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- White pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 2 raw eggs
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- Barbecue sauce, to drizzle
- 2 slices of bread
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken by combining light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, white pepper, and cornstarch in a bowl. Toss in the chicken and let it sit.
- Heat the cooking oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken and stir-fry until cooked, about 5 minutes. Set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the shredded cabbage and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until it softens but remains crunchy.
- Add the chicken back to the skillet and crack a raw egg over each portion. Leave as-is for runny yolks or cook longer for firmer eggs. Drizzle with barbecue sauce.
- Assemble the sandwich using your choice of bread and serve immediately.
