A quick, healthy breakfast sandwich loaded with flavor and protein, made in just 10 minutes.

  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 2 servings 1x

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup thinly sliced chicken breast
  • 1 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tsp dark soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • White pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 2 raw eggs
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil
  • Barbecue sauce, to drizzle
  • 2 slices of bread

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken by combining light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, white pepper, and cornstarch in a bowl. Toss in the chicken and let it sit.
  2. Heat the cooking oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken and stir-fry until cooked, about 5 minutes. Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the shredded cabbage and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until it softens but remains crunchy.
  4. Add the chicken back to the skillet and crack a raw egg over each portion. Leave as-is for runny yolks or cook longer for firmer eggs. Drizzle with barbecue sauce.
  5. Assemble the sandwich using your choice of bread and serve immediately.

Notes

Feel free to customize with toppings like avocado or different sauces for added flavor.
