- 4 cups mini pretzel twists
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the mini pretzel twists on the sheet.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat, then stir in brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Bring to a boil while stirring constantly for 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and baking soda, pour over pretzels, and toss until coated. If using, sprinkle pecans on top.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, stirring halfway through. Let cool completely before breaking into pieces.
