- 1 1/2 lbs Ground beef (80/20)
- Salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste
- 1 Onion, sliced
- 2 cups Baby potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 Bell pepper, sliced
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- Favorite toppings (ketchup, mustard, pickles) to taste
- Heavy-duty aluminum foil (N/A)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high or 400°F.
- Form the patties by seasoning the ground beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, then shaping it into four equal patties.
- Assemble your packets by layering thinly sliced potatoes, onion, bell pepper, and a burger patty on each sheet of foil. Drizzle with olive oil, season again, wrap tightly, and place on the grill or in the oven.
- Cook for 25 to 30 minutes, or until veggies are tender and internal burger temperature reaches 160°F. Open packets, sprinkle with cheese, and serve with your favorite toppings.
