Rich, fudgy brownies topped with a creamy silky frosting, perfect for any chocolate lover!

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 12 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Unsalted butter
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 4 Large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Cocoa powder (for frosting)
  • 2 tablespoons Milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan thoroughly with butter or non-stick spray.
  2. Melt the unsalted butter in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until combined.
  3. Gradually beat in the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until just combined. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  5. Let the brownies cool in the pan for about 15 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
  6. For frosting, combine powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and milk in a bowl until smooth. Spread over cooled brownies.

Notes

Enjoy brownies fresh or store in an airtight container to maintain fudginess. Customize with add-ins like nuts or chocolate chips, and serve with ice cream for a special treat!
