Description
A vibrant, caffeine-free detox tea made with butterfly pea flowers, lemon juice, ginger, and an optional splash of apple cider vinegar. Supports digestion, hydration, and provides a calming daily ritual.
Ingredients

500 ml water
2 tbsp dried butterfly pea flowers
Juice of 1 lemon
2 tsp fresh sliced ginger
1–2 tsp honey (to taste)
1 tsp apple cider vinegar (optional)
Instructions
- Infuse the flowers:
Bring 500 ml of water to a gentle boil with the ginger. Turn off the heat, add the butterfly pea flowers, and steep for 10 minutes until the tea turns deep blue.
- Transform and serve:
Add lemon juice to the tea and watch it turn purple. Stir in honey and optional apple cider vinegar. Serve warm or chilled over ice.
Notes
Use a clear glass to enjoy the color change. For a refreshing variation, pour over ice or add sparkling water. ACV adds a digestive boost but is optional.
