Instructions

  1. Prepare the cake by cutting it into bite-sized cubes and letting it cool if necessary.
  2. Prepare cherries, slicing them if fresh, and reserve syrup for later use.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, then gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
  4. Layer chocolate cake cubes in a large glass bowl, drizzle with cherry syrup, then top with cherries and whipped cream. Repeat layers until finished with whipped cream.
