- 4 large Eggs

- 4 slices Day-old Brioche or Challah Bread

Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, water, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg thoroughly.
- Dip the slices of brioche or challah bread into the egg mixture, coating them thoroughly.
- Heat a griddle, oven, or air fryer and cook the bread slices until golden brown and crisp on both sides.
- To make the drizzle, melt brown butter in a pan, add chopped pecans and maple syrup, and cook until it bubbles.
- Serve the French toast warm, topped with the brown butter maple-pecan drizzle and a dusting of powdered sugar.
Notes
For added variety, consider topping with fresh seasonal fruits, yogurt, or nuts.
