A quick and flavorful Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry, perfect for busy weeknights.

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 pound flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Beef: Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and beef broth in a bowl. Add sliced beef and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Cook the Beef: Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add marinated beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove beef from the pan.
  3. Stir-Fry Aromatics and Vegetables: In the same pan, add more oil if necessary, then stir-fry garlic and ginger until fragrant. Add broccoli and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  4. Combine and Thicken: Return cooked beef to the pan and pour in the marinade sauce. Stir until coated and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  5. Serve: Serve the stir-fry immediately over cooked rice.

Notes

For a variation, add snap peas, bell peppers, or carrots. For a spicy kick, add chili oil or red pepper flakes.
