A delightful combination of sweet and savory with juicy baked pears topped with crumbled feta, honey, and cranberries.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe pears, halved and cored
  • 75 grams crumble feta cheese
  • 30 milliliters olive oil or melted butter
  • 30 grams dried cranberries
  • 30 milliliters honey
  • 1 gram ground cinnamon
  • Fresh thyme leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Coat the cut sides of the pear halves with olive oil or melted butter and sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
  3. Place the pear halves cut-side up in the prepared baking dish and bake for 20 to 25 minutes until tender.
  4. Once tender, remove from the oven and top each pear with crumbled feta, dried cranberries, and honey. Garnish with fresh thyme leaves if desired.

Notes

These pears are best enjoyed warm. For a luxurious treat, serve them with vanilla ice cream.
