Ingredients

  • 2 cups broccoli florets, finely chopped
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or olive oil for greasing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper, lightly greasing it with cooking spray or olive oil.
  2. Steam or blanch the finely chopped broccoli florets for 2-3 minutes until just tender, then finely chop again.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the broccoli, breadcrumbs, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until evenly combined.
  4. Roll the mixture into small golf-ball-sized balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, lightly greasing the tops.
  5. Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
