- 1 cup hot water
- 1 Earl Grey tea bag
- 1 cup milk of choice
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- Pinch ground cloves (optional)
- 1 cinnamon stick (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Steep the Earl Grey tea bag in hot water for 3-5 minutes.
- While the tea steeps, heat a cup of milk in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Once the milk is warm, remove from heat and whisk in maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and optional cloves.
- Remove the tea bag and pour the brewed tea into a mug.
- Froth the flavored milk mixture until light and foamy.
- Pour the frothed milk over the brewed tea and garnish with a cinnamon stick if desired.
Notes
For a dairy-free option, use almond, oat, or soy milk. You can also add pumpkin spice or chocolate syrup to customize flavors.
