Ingredients

  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 Earl Grey tea bag
  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • Pinch ground cloves (optional)
  • 1 cinnamon stick (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Steep the Earl Grey tea bag in hot water for 3-5 minutes.
  2. While the tea steeps, heat a cup of milk in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Once the milk is warm, remove from heat and whisk in maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and optional cloves.
  4. Remove the tea bag and pour the brewed tea into a mug.
  5. Froth the flavored milk mixture until light and foamy.
  6. Pour the frothed milk over the brewed tea and garnish with a cinnamon stick if desired.

Notes

For a dairy-free option, use almond, oat, or soy milk. You can also add pumpkin spice or chocolate syrup to customize flavors.
