Description

Creamy and comforting, this classic Alfredo sauce is quick to make and perfect for pastas, vegetables, or protein-packed meals.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 garlic cloves, minced

1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Step 1: In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and add minced garlic. Cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.

Step 2: Pour in the heavy cream and stir continuously for 3–4 minutes, allowing it to warm up.

Step 3: Add grated Parmesan cheese and whisk until fully melted and smooth.

Step 4: Sprinkle in nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Stir well and simmer for 5 minutes, then remove from heat.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for best results. Don’t overheat the sauce to keep it silky smooth.
