- 2 tbsp Avocado Oil
- 2 tsp Sea Salt
- 1 tsp Pepper
- 1/2 tsp Cumin
- 1/2 tsp Chili Powder
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
- 1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken by ensuring it is fully thawed and the cavity is empty. Pat it dry with paper towels.
- Season the chicken by combining sea salt, pepper, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika in a small bowl.
- Drizzle the avocado oil over the chicken and rub it evenly across the skin. Then, apply the seasoning blend liberally.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for about 5 minutes.
- Roast the chicken in the air fryer basket breast side down for 20 minutes. Then, carefully flip using tongs and reduce temperature to 350°F.
- Continue cooking for an additional 30-40 minutes, checking for an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Rest the chicken for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Pat the chicken dry for crispier skin and avoid overcrowding the air fryer for even cooking.
